This car was originally Goldwood Yellow and has been repainted Tuxedo Black. The interior has been restored in brilliant red. This is a very attractive Corvair Monza that is a pleasure to drive. The body is straight throughout and the paint is in very good condition. a good solid driver quality finish. Open the doors to 1964. This interior has been restored and is in excellent condition. The dash displays the factory instrument cluster. The dash pad is clean and detailed. The carpeting has been replaced as have the door panels. The white convertible top has been replaced and is in great shape. The convertible top boot snaps into place. The original VIN plate is in position. The engine compartment displays the previously rebuilt 164 cubic inch Flax-Six rated at 110 horsepower with the dual carburetors. Further inspection of the engine compartment reveal original sheet metal throughout the inner fenders and firewall. The carburetors were just recently rebuilt. The original trim identification plate is intact and legible. The undercarriage is in good condition throughout this Corvair. Part of the floor pan has been cut out on each side. It appears to have been an amateur job. and could use a little extra work. All in all it appears to be solid elsewhere. The engine and transaxle underside are also in good condition as is the suspension front to back.
