1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monza ConvertibleReady to put the top down and drive! I bought this car in early September. 1998. All total I have put 10. 52 miles on it. Car has lasted a divorce and many moves and we finally decided to sell it. Top and tires are all new. Car was painted and motor rebuilt a few years ago. It starts and runs strong. I would not hesitate to take it on an extended trip. We have often driven it to wineries in and around Charlottesville which is about and hour west of us on Interstate 64. No problem keeping up and passing anyone. Vehicle has been regularly serviced by a friend of mine who is a Corvair junkie with parts from Clark's. Fuel pump. alternator. belts. battery. dual carbs. etc. have all been replaced. The only reason we are selling is because we bought an older BMW convertible which the better half prefers to take on longer trips. That car has AC. heated seats. cruise and other accessories that she like when driving.
