Selling off my last classic car due to buying a few newer vehicles. I recently purchased a Dodge Challenger Hellcat and a 2012 Camaro ZL1 and have a few other newer cars. so I am making room in the garage and looking to sell a great classic cruiser here. This car was purchased from a long time owner who owned the vehicle since 1978. and I have some of the inspection records that date back to the 1980's and insurance cards also. I can tell you what I know about the vehicle. the man purchased this car for his wife way back then as he had 2 other classic vehicles of his own. His wife rarely drove this car at all with the one inspection record I have in 1998 the car had 19700 miles listed on the inspection record. the car has 21511 now. I believe it to have 121511 but I can tell you in the 17 years she drove it 2000 miles. I also have inspection records from 2004 - 2005 - 2006 - 2007 and she put a total of 350 miles on it during those 4 years and 700 miles from 2001 till now. When I bought the vehicle I changed the oil. put new spark plug wires and spark plugs in the car and changed out the gas. added coolant. that's it. The owners husband kept the vehicle in a rented garage for years along with his other cars. I am a dodge guy and he had 2 Plymouth's I looked at he was selling. When I seen this car I knew I wanted it as I love convertibles and he told me the story that it was his wife's car. The car seems to have the original motor. runs very good and has good power for a 307 2 barrel vehicle. As you can see in the pictures the owner had put dual exhaust on the car back in the early 90's and still looks new. The transmission was changed at some time with a 3 speed automatic. I believe by doing some research that these vehicles came with a 2 speed powerglide? The rally's are 14 inch wheels with like new tires. brakes have less then a 1000 miles on them. new emergency brake cables. rear brake lines. and fuel lines. Again all done in the mid 90's but the car has been in the garage never left out side. The Convertible top was also installed back in the 90's with a glass window and looks like it is 1 year old. The interior I feel was replaced back then also. but I am not sure but is very clean. no rips. no cracks in the dash pad. carpets are nice. door panels no issues. armrests not cracked or broken. The car looks like it has a am radio. but it is a am-fm with great sound as it also has speakers in the kick panels. The car was painted about 30 years ago and shines very nicely. but it does have a few flaws in the paint. I pointed out a few in the pictures. 2 spots on the back panel behind the convertible top. It looks like something spilled on it. the paint has very small bubbles. not rust. I am not sure if it the 2 spots could be wet sanded and buffed out. The car also has a few dings here and there. Nothing at all that's bad. It is a great 5 foot car. Looks mint from 10 feet. great at 5 feet. But you will see some small flaws on a car that is a driver. And i am being picky here. Can you win a trophy at a local car show. I am sure you will. Can you win at a big car show. I don't think so. I m sure I have forgotten somethings. just ask and I will answer back when I can. The top is power. has power steering. manual brakes. am-fm radio. rallys. drives great with no issues at all. Steers and stops straight no issues. gas gauge. temp gauge all work. The gauges are in mint condition and are bright. not old looking. This car will be great for someone who just wants to jump in and drive around all day with no issues. good on gas. It seems to be all original. spare. jack. in the trunk. spare cover. It is all there. Bumpers are original and have some minor pitting. Door mirrors were new in the 90's. Again. this is a great car to cruise around. has some minor flaws due to it's age and has had only 1 repaint 30+ yrs ago but looks great. If you would like to see the car we can set up a appt. The floors in the pictures you will see are rock solid with very little scale rust on them as you can see. Super solid frame and floors. not all covered up with under coating or black paint hiding anything. The trans pan is wet and should have the gasket replaced. nbsp;drips a dime size from sitting more then a month or so. Oil pan has a dent but does not leak. Not a big deal at all. For me any way. Has some bondo in the front fender and rocker panel when painted 30+ yrs ago. It looks to have had 1/4's put on also. Other wise a really solid car. I am showing the one 1/4 panel inner part rust was not fixed. the other side inner 1/4 has bondo. Bit this is on the inner side and the outside 1/4's are perfect. I have owned alot of cool cars and like i said this is the last one I held on to. If it doesn't sell I will be fine taking it out once a month and ride with the top down listening to the f m radio. Don't miss out. 1st person to come see the car will be buying it. it's a great car. Not a car with a bad history. or a cloned up ss chevelle that you see on the internet. It is a original red car based on the fender tag I was told today. Also. I always seem to under estimate my vehicles. if you see the car in person you will buy it.
