Up for auction is a 1956 Chevrolet 2 door Bel Air sedan. The car is in all original stock condition and not modified in any way. I am listing it for the son and widow of a friend who unfortunately passed away. The 56 was his fathers car for as long back as I can remember. and was recently passed down to him due to his fathers age. My friend had no plans to ever sell the car and had planned to someday pass it down to his son. The car was restored sometime around 2002 and included stripping the body to bare metal and a complete re paint with base/clear paint in the original turquoise and India ivory 2-tone. No quarter. rocker. floor. ect. replacement was needed and the car retains all its original sheetmetal. The bumpers were re-chromed at this time as well as any other chrome or trim that needed to be. The car has new complete taillight assemblies. new emblems. door handles. stone shields. and all weather strip. fuzzies. and rubber bumpers. Also new is an Am/FM stereo. drivers door glass is down in pics. but does have a crack through it. Drivetrain is # matching and is a 235 6cyl with a two speed powerglide automatic transmission. The 56 runs and drives great. starts right up and goes down the road straight. This will make a very nice car for someone. Please ask all ?'s before bidding. I will do my best to get u an answer. Thanks. and good luck bidding!
