It has 6 new Firestone wide white side wall tires. beautiful paint. new interior. clear glass. gleaming chrome. sweet running inline 6 cyclinder engine that I think is the original. good shifting fully syconized transmission. lights and gauges work! HISTORY: I bought the car from a older man from South Carolina in September of 2013. He bought it out of Georgia because the body was so solid. He was going to street rod it. but could not bring his self to destory a good 1932 Chevrolet. I bought it to restore for my self. I restored it last year to a nice driver quality. I was going to drive it so I did some minor up grades like. 12 volt system with new wiring. alternater and turn signals. I finished the car last fall and have drove it about 3 times. Its not good to set that much so its now for sale. HOW IS THE BODY? I consider it as good as you will find. The underside is just the way I found it. The car had been restored several years ago and the under side look real good. The old black paint was specaled so we took it off to near bare metal. 1 tiny ding in the left rear fender and 1 small rust bubble area in the right lower cowl. I think the steet metal is all original. its all metal including the metal fenders and hood. HOW IS THE WOOD IN THE CAR? Chevrolets did have a problem with wood. I replaced the wood front door post with metal to reinforce. The wood under the windshield was soft so I replaced it with solid oak. IS THIS A PERFECT CAR? No!!! I just wanted a nice driver that I could go to the local car shows and drive to town and back. Its super nice. but its no perfect roll out of the trailer show queen. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Its all new! IS THE INTERIOR TRIM WOOD? No its painted metal to look like wood. The original was a little darker. I think the lighter looks better so we painted it the color you see in the pictures. Is a fun process to do wood graining. HOW IS THE ELECTRICAL? It all new wiring with a fuse panel. a 1 wire alternator and new Optima gel battery. I don't like to be on the side of the road because of junky wiring. HOW IS THE ENGINE? I think it runs good. I think its the original inline 6 cycliner. I hear no knocks or abnormal pings. it does puff a tad of blue smoke on crank up. thats about normal for the old tecnolegy. I did not rebuild the engine. it ran good. I did turn it up and put a new oil pan gasket on. Very few drops of oil left for a car of this day. I consider it a good engine! HOW IS THE PAINT? I consider it good. I love the blue color on a 1932 Cadillac so we painted the body with one that looks about the same shade as they looked to me. We used PPG base/coat clear/coat on the body. the paint color name is blue flame. It has some metalic that makes it shine good. Before paint we took most of the old paint off to near bare metal. Applied 2 coats of PPG DP90 epozy. sanded. put 3 coats of blue base and 3 coats of clear. The fenders are black and done the same. HOW IS THE CHROME? I had the bumpers rechromed. put a new eagle on the radiator grill shell. new lights. new door handles and polished the rest. HOW IS THE GLASS? The windshield and rear window were good so we leaft them. The side window were perfect. but cut too big for new weather stripping so we put new ones with new weather stripping. WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Here at my home/garage in Athens. Tennessee 37303. CONTACT INFORMATION: Ron Watson cell 423-506-8987 Please no Sunday calls or late night. just leave a voice mail and I'll call you back. direct email: dreamcar@live. com HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a good shifting 3 speed with the shifter on the tree. All the gears other than reverse feel sycronized to me. HOW ARE THE LIGHTS? Head light work. tail lights work. brake lights work. I added turn signals for safty and they do work. SPEEDOMETER WORKS. its a little slow. OIL GAUGE WORKS! TEMP GAUGE WORKS! THE ORIGINAL HORN IS NOT WORKING! WIPER IS A MANUAL HAND OPERATED. just the way it was. My picture shows no wiper arm. it was off in the trunk. I bought a new on and it had a weak apply pressure. I will work on it and see if I can get it to do better. HOW ARE THE BRAKES? I had the shoes lined with new green grabber lining. The parking brakes works. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? I think it drives good! These old cars are geared low. go don't be in a hurry when you go somewhere. HOW ARE THE TIRES? 6 new Firestone 5. 50 by 18 inch. OVER 90 PICTURES BELOW.
