2004 Concept El Camino style know as El Camonte. This is a NO RESERVE auction. High bidder will be the proud new owner. This vehicle was purchased new - see window sticker in photos - and taken straight to the shop for a complete concept makeover. The result - a concept El Camino. This vehicle took over 11 months to transform into what you see now. No changes were made to the drivetrain - this all remained stock. If there is ever a need for mechanical work on the vehicle. this can be done at any GM dealer. All of the modifications were to the body of the car only!As the story was told to us. GM took complete measurements and photos of the car once it was completed and at one time had considered bringing back the El Camino to the United States based off of this car. Due to changes in the economy. as we all know. this didn't happen. The car was sold to a person at the 2006 Barrett-Jackson auto auction for $21. 50. He owned it for about a year and we purchased it from him. There is over $70. 00 in this vehicle - see photos of the receipts. The car starts and runs perfectly. A brand new battery was installed this week (purchased from Napa Auto. copy of receipt will be included) There is a complete photo book documenting the transformation which will go with the car along with all of the receipts that we have.
