We built this truck with the purist in mind and have kept her as original as possible. We started with a freshly rebuilt 235 straight six on the chassis along with the cab. The project came with some great tin and and abundance of it. We picked through and kept the very best of each fender. door. bed. etc. We maintained the 235 straight six engine and transmission and kept the shifter on the column just like she was made. While this is not a complete restoration. it's very close to a complete makeover. As you can see from the pictures. it shows very well and turns heads everywhere. The good; She was built at the factory here in Atlanta and we believe spent her whole life in and around the area. Complete truck and completely original. Mechanically very sound and fun to drive. Brand new wood bed and polished stainless strips. New cab corners and patch panels installed. The fenders. doors. and tin were in amazing shape and needed very little repair. 235 straight six with original three speed transmission and shifter on the column. Factory options include dual horns. dropped rear bumper for license plate. starter on the dash. dealer installed directionals. Period correct. dealer add on rims. Freshly painted with factory colors. All lights. gauges. speedometer. wipers work except fuel gauge. The bad:We are not professional body men. She shows very. very nice but this is not a show winner truck. We took some liberty with the color of the grill. All white was not factory but we think it dresses it up considerably. The rims and tires are period correct and were added on at dealerships and hyped as making it heavier duty. We think for safety sake. they should be upgraded. She could use some detailing and / or buffing once the paint is hard enough. Sold with Georgia Bill of Sale and copy of current GA registration.
