Chevrolet 2500HD Duramax with Six Speed Manual Trans

Thank you for taking time to read our posting. We are looking to sell our 2004 Chevrolet 2500HD truck. We have owned this truck since 2006 and it has been a great truck for our family. We replaced the clutch. flywheel. and slave cylinder within the last year. The clutch system was replaced with a South Bend Clutch unit. The truck has never had any power mods of any kind installed; we took ownership of the truck at 37000 miles. The transfer case was rebuilt last spring with all bearings. the drive chain. seals. the output shaft. rear housing. and the oil pump replaced. The oil pump modification was installed to prevent damage to the rear transfer case housing at the time of rebuild. The rear end was overhauled with new bearings. seals. ring gear. and pinion gear installed. The gears are from Yukon and are a 3. 73 ratio. We installed an Eaton Helical Gear carrier into the rear end at the time of overhaul. If the selling price is above $12000 I will leave this installed. if it is below this price I will reinstall the OEM Carrier. I currently have the front half shafts removed because I had a torn CV Boot. but I have two new half shafts and I will install them before sale. The truck currently has a Hide-A-Ball Gooseneck hitch installed in the bed; if the Selling price is above $12000 I will leave that installed as well; otherwise it will also be removed. This truck has spent its life in Illinois and Wisconsin and because of that it will need the rocker panels and bed sides replaced due to rust. There are several blemishes in various areas due to normal usage of the truck. The rear doors are difficult to open. I am under the belief that the latches are sticky; I never used the rear doors. they seem to stick or drag at the bottom when opened and it does take some effort. The brake system was replaced two years ago with new rotors and pads; there has been less than 20000 miles since. The tires are at least 50% and are BFG 265/75r16 Load Range E All Terrain TA. Full synthetic fluids in everything. both axles. transfer case. transmission. and motor. This truck is a beast. will pull anything you ask it to and gets great mileage I regularly get 18 mpg city and I have gotten as much as 25 mpg highway with this truck. It has a LB7 Duramax motor that never fails to start even on the coldest days. This truck has a lot of life left in it. I hate to let her go but the driveway only has room for one full size truck. All reasonable offers considered. This truck will be sold as is and all sales will be final.
