This is a really fun truck to drive! It's a three speed manual column shift that's tight and bind free. There's nothing quite as cool as bangin' gears with a column shifter. The interior of this truck is painted the same Bahama Blue as the exterior. All gauges work and all lights work- this was our daily ride last summer and we put some good miles on it. It stops. it goes. it doesn't over heat. it's a nice simple custom that gets a ton of attention. The engine is a low mileage four bolt 350 out of an rv with a performer intake and carb. The trans is clean and quiet with a new clutch when the engine was installed. The rear gear ratio is 3. 73 that gets you down to business without killing the fuel economy. It's got 18" rims that fill up the wheel well nicely with almost new tires. Full length headers and flowmasters sound perfect on this truck. The body could use a little love. but it's far from being bad. We have an inner and outer rocker panel for the drivers side. the drivers side cab corner is starting to bubble. and the bottom of the box in front of the rear wheels is getting some rust- which panels are available for from lmc for 18 and change. We drove it all last summer in it's current condition without any problem. As far as other issues with the truck. the heater core needs replacing( it's been bypassed since we bought it) but I have the new one and it's an hour job. and the radio isn't working but I'm pretty sure it's just not hooked up. This is a very solid base for a killer build and I hope someone else has as much fun with this truck as we did.
