During its in-depth rebuild. the car's solid. fiberglass was thoroughly massaged to correct most of the typical waves and ripples that came standard from GM's St. Louis manufacturing facility. With those cosmetic semantics complete. a finishing phase took the form of aggressive block-sanding. And finally. everything was layered in correct Marina Blue 2-stage. accented with a sinister stinger stripe and buffed to an impressive. wet-look shine. With this roadster. the idea was to create a super nice cruiser that can be enjoyed without worry. Whether that means an excellent original piece was refinished to like-new condition. or fresh reproduction items were installed. the car's caretakers certainly ensured its appearance is both accurate and impressive. At the front of this old school street queen. bullet-style marker lights. show worthy bumpers and a red. white and black cross-flag emblem cage a stainless egg crate grille. Behind that grille. brazen "427" emblems adorn a 1967-exclusive stinger hood. At the sides of that hood. simple heat extractors ride between traditional door handles. a classy bowtie mirror. and chambered and shielded side pipes. Opposite those pipes. straight stainless trim complements a fresh roof and correctly tinted glass. Satin Black fenders. And the 400 horsepower mill is authenticated by a correct 3904351 casting number. which follows a correct 427/4-speed (JC) suffix stamp and matching partial VIN.
