1981 Chevrolet El Camino Base Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door 3.8L

The El Camino is in very good condition. but has not been operated in 12 years. It has been stored inside covered on jack stands. The tires are in good shape and are not deformed. I rolled it out of the garage for pictures with no problem. I have not started the car during that time. The oil was changed prior to storage and the gasoline tank was filled and stabilized. The battery is stored outside of the car but is dead after 12 years. I purchased the car in 2002 in Charleston. SC. In 2002 the engine was replaced. The car spent one winter in upstate New York and has some minor rust on the frame and exhaust. Since 2003 it has been stored in Montana as described. Prior to storage the car was operating fine. the brakes worked fine and there were no mechanical issues. I drove the car from New York to Montana with no mechanical problems other than a flat tire. The car is all original. There is some UV damage to some of the interior surfaces. The dash is not cracked and is in great condition. The body and paint are in great condition with a few small scratches. The largest scratch is on the driver side door. Prior to storage the rear driver side tire had the tread come off and dented the rear quarter panel at the bottom. This is not very noticeable and was difficult to photograph. but can be seen in the photos. IS SOLD AS IS WHERE IS.
