When we bought this vehicle in 2010 we sanded down the entire vehicle. replaced the rockers. repaired all rust issues and replaced the rubber moldings prior to painting. We primed it and then painted it Medium Olive Poly over Dark Olive Polly and flattened the paint to give it a little bit of a military/bug out look. We installed recessed LED front turn lamps and blackened the grill to give it a menacing look. I had a mechanic do a comprehensive inspection. We replaced the starter. put in new plugs. distributor. condenser ignition and cleaned up the wiring harness. The mechanic also repaired and replaced the clutch disc. resealed the transmission/transfer case and rebuilt the rear axle replacing all bearings. ring and pinion gears and axles. The U-joints were replaced as well as the shoes. springs and wheel cylinder shoes on all four drum brakes. All hoses were checked and replaced. if they showed any excess wear.
