2013 427 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

Chevrolet needed something special. 2013 not only marked the 60th anniversary of the Corvette. it would also be the last year of the sixth generation. The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 convertible is just that. something special. 1969 was the last time that the General put a 427 cubic inch engine into a convertible. After many years of enthusiasts requesting a Z06 convertible. Chevrolet obliged with something very close. The 7. 0 liter. naturally aspirated engine is arguably the greatest engine that General Motors has ever produced. It's capable of 505 horsepower and 470 ft/lb of torque. Beyond the powerplant. the 427 sports a carbon fiber hood and front fenders. along with the fantastic magnetic ride suspension with touring and sport modes. This was a one year model with production limited to 2. 52 units. I've read many times that red is the only color that Corvettes should come in. I wasn't initially convinced as I previously owned a 2008 Black coupe with a titanium/black interior and a 2012 Cyber Gray convertible with a red/black interior. This Torch Red car may have changed my mind. Equipped with the 427 Heritage package. red calipers and black wheels. this car is simply gorgeous. The interior is representative of the top of the line 1SC trim package. which includes: power memory. eated leather bucket seats. custom stitched leather wrapped interior. a power convertible top (you do have to unlatch the top first). and a universal home remote. The car also comes equipped with navigation and a nine speaker Bose factory sound system. There have been no aftermarket modifications to this 427 outside of the Top Flight front license plate holder. For those of you in a state that requires a front license plate. Top Flight makes this front plate which does not get screwed into the bumper. No holes. just 3M tape and wingnuts holding the plate in place. This 427 comes with the balance of the full factory bumper to bumper and powertrain warranties. No accidents. dings. scrapes or stories of any type; just an absolutely beautiful 427 convertible that came with an original MSRP of $89. 90.
