You are bidding on a 1969 El Camino. VIN 136809B322128. The car is an SS 396. The original color was butternut yellow with black interior. This is not a matching numbers car. The engine is a 454 crate motor with a Hardcore BH286 cam. Edelbrock EDL-1411 750 CFM 4 barrel carb and headers. The transmission is a Muncie 4 speed M22 rock crusher. The rear is 12 bolt w/anti sway bars. gear ratio unknown. Front brakes aredisc and rears are drums. The body work was done by Back In Time. Pompton Lakes. NJ including the hood. doors. new OEM front fenders. new floor pan and braces. /p> new rocker panels. cowl repair and other minor items. I have a second rear bed from Desert Valley Auto in Arizona as well as new inner rear fenders. The car needs new rear quarter panels. bed floor and a new tailgate. New sheet metal is readily available from Goodmark Industries. I have two sets of Chrome trim plus some parts of a third set. I purchased the car in 2002. It was in the process of being restored until I ran out of money and time. This is either a restoration project or a parts donor vehicle.
