Up for auction is a drop dead gorgeous 1950 Chevy Pickup. This truck is a frame off. super high quality; show truck. which was built for cruising anywhere. It is a true showstopper! I purchased this truck in South Georgia. The truck has a crowd of people looking at every show. This is one of the nicest vintage trucks that you will find anywhere from a total package standpoint. It has it all from top quality paint and body. to the best of the best in running gear and mechanics. It can win National shows anywhere in the country and the new owner will certainly be very proud of this truck. It only has about 7500 miles since the restore was complete. The paint and body are absolutely excellent with a few minor road pecks. It is a 9+ on a scale from 1-10 and I don’t say that about many of them. The body is all steel. (no fiberglass and no bondo). and it is as straight as a gun barrel. As stated above I do have the pictures of the truck during the restoration process. The gaps and seams are near perfect. The paint is near flawless and just as slick as glass. It looks like a piece of candy. The color is Tangerine Orange Chrysler Prowler. The door handles have been shaved. it also has frenched taillights. third brake light. Hagan Teardrop fuel door. chrome exhaust tips. chrome grille and front bumper. chrome side mirror. and Coys wheels with (245/40ZR18 front and 275/40ZR20 rear). This truck is beyond nice. The engine is a Chevy small block 400 completely rebuilt with high performance parts and it is fast; it will pin you back in the seat. Under the hood is just as nice looking and show quality as the paint and body. It has a chrome alternator. heavy-duty chrome water pump. Walker radiator w/electric fan. Chevy Bowtie valve covers. polished aluminum pulleys and brackets. Hooker Headers. chrome power steering reservoir. Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. Edelbrock carburetor w/electric choke. Power Master starter. chrome fuel pump. polished AC compressor. and every nut. bolt. line. fitting. were all new. The fender wells and firewall are professionally painted and show quality as well. The transmission is a 700R4 automatic and the rear end is a Chevy 10-bolt with limited slip and 342 gears. The undercarriage is very nice and clean with painted frame and parts and again you will see that every line. fitting. nut & bolt is all neat and were brand new as well. It has a Fat Man front end with rack and pinion steering. and 4-link Morrison Pro coil over rear suspension. The interior is not extravagant but very neat and comfortable. It has a Lecarra steering wheel. tilt steering column. Beede gauges. new E-Z wiring system throughout. Eureka headliner and door panels. Vintage Compac Gen II heat and AC. Pioneer AM/FM CD Player (XM ready with antenna). power windows. power remote tonneau cover. and all new glass. This truck is 100% complete and show quality as described. It runs. rides. drives. and handles as good as it looks. and needs nothing. You can drive this truck across country if you like. I love this truck but it's time for to me to move on to another project. Please take the time to look at the many pictures and call or email if you have any additional questions.
