1) Engine was replaced with brand new stock 405HP LS6 from Chevrolet at ~25K miles (new engine has about 25K miles on it, nly one track day)
2) Transmission was replaced a few thousand miles ago with 10K mile Trans
3) Getrag rear end rebuilt, ew gears, tc. a few thousand miles ago
4) Have 2 nearly new snow tires for rear
5) Have all stock parts still
D) Comments on condition
a) Paint and body not perfect, ee pics. This is not a polishers car.
b) It is very presentable and is adriverscar.
c) It is in excellent mechanical condition, ee above.
E) History, urpose, tc.:
I bought car from first owner with about 12K miles on it in 04. I used it as 2nd/fun car, hen got into track days, nd then wheel to wheel, lways was plated / street legaland street driven, oo. About 3 years back, e moved, got very busy with work, nd had no time for track days, acing, tc. I needed to drive a Chevy for work, nd had blownup my modified engine (high lift cam, alve hit piston) at my last (as it turned out to be) race. So engine was replaced (see above) and I have driven car on and off (We do have 4 other cars) since. Have only done one track day, nd after that day did trans / diff as described above. This car is perfect for dual use of fun street and track days if you want. We developed a fabulous, toutbrakingsystem, nd all the cooling / coolers are there and necessary for pushing a Z06 hard, nd of course the sways bars, eat, tc. are there for track days You have all the tires, heels etc. (12 total if you include stock front 17s) for all uses. As mentioned above, t is not a "polishers" car, nd could use someone to pay attention to it with a buffer, nd even repaint the mirrors if they wanted, nd though it has been pushed hard, as never been bent, nd is fresh from an complete engine / drivetrain perspective.
