Up forsale, e're proud to offer a 1973 Corvette T-Top- 454 big block Coupe. Same owner for over 30years. Matching numbers 454 Paired with Turbo-Hydromatic 3speed Auto. Power Steering, ower Brakes, C, lectric Windows, owder Coated Frame, luminum Intake with a Holly Double Pumper 750 carb, ew front suspension- Ball Joints, ushings, oil Springs, nd Shocks. Original hood has been tastefully modified toaccommodate Intake and carb. Car includes original intake manifold and air cleaner. New Paint- Shows very well. Original interior shows nicely- New weatherstripping on T-tops. New tires, xhaust, ndrecently converted to A-134 AC. Newelectric fuel pump- fires up without hesitation- soundsamazing, nd preforms as it should- Either on city streets or freeway. All Gauges work besides clock and Tach- ( Electric Tach is included with purchase).
The 1973 Chevrolet Corvette was the first "Rubber Bumper" Vette. The front chrome bumper was replaced with a federally mandated 5 MPH bumper. This is the only year that a rubber front bumper and chrome rear bumper were used at the same time.
In 1973, M only made 4,412 454/275Hp Big Blocks out of over 30,000 Vettes released. Big Blocks will demand top dollar in years to come.
The 1973 was a one-year-only body design. GM also did away with the vacuum operated wiper door this year in favor of a longer hood to hide the wipers, nd dropped the removable back window in favor of a glue-in window.
