1979 Chevrolet Corvette L82

1979 Chevrolet Corvette L82, umbers Matching, O RESERVE auction. This vehicle is an original L82 option car. It is factory equipped with J56 4 piston caliper brakes, hich have been replaced as well as the master cylinder, he brakes on this car work GREAT, s opposed to many of the other corvettes of this era. This vehicle is also equipped with the 3.55:1 posi traction rear differential, s well as the Tilt/Telescopic steering column. The interior was redone by the previous owner in the original tan leather. It still needs a few small pieces put on, owever they are all there. The car was repainted at some point to a pearl white color. The paint does not look bad and has a few small dings and scrapes to be expected with a 35 year old vehicle. The car has aftermarket Crager wheels with brand new tires. The battery is also brand new. The vehicle is currently equipped with a stationary headlight conversion however the factory original functioning pop up head lights will be included with the car.This vehicle was originally equipped with factory A/C however the compressor and lines were removed.This is a numbers matching vehicle down to the carburetor and trans. The engine fires right up, nd runs great. It does not smoke, eak, r hesitate and it maintains excellent oil pressure. The transmission is a TH350 3 speed and it shifts excellent, icks down like its supposed to, nd does not leak at all. This vehicle is also equipped with aftermarket long tube headers, hrome valve covers, nd a chrome breather. The odometer shows 74000 miles but I am unsure if that is accurate, do know the car has sat in a garage for the past 15 years.
