You will notice that it has been three years since that transaction before I listed anything on this site.. I urge you to review my feedback prior to that as a seller and make your bids based on that confidence. I have never falsely advertised or misrepresented anything I have sold. If I did miss a major issue on a vehicle, have always offered everything I can to fix the situation. I am not out to cheat any one as I am also a consumer and expect the same treatment and respect. Please bid only if you are a serious buyer. I welcome and encourage you to come view this item prior to bidding to validate my description. If you have any questions or concerns, lease contact me either by email or you may call me. I also offer 100% refund on your deposit if the said item is falsely advertised. I received negative feedback on the last sale because the buyer had asked me to fix the A/C for him(which I had stated in the ad that the A/C is non functional and Im selling the car as/is because I do not want to invest any more money into the car). Out of good faith,I agreed and spent $800 out of my own pocket to replace the A/C in a $1400 20 year old vehicle. He changed his mind and expected me to refund his $300 deposit. This landed me with the completely unfair and untrue negative feedback. Please understand everything I list is as accurate as possible. I personally drive my vehicles and do not list them until I have had a a few weeks to "get to know them". Anything missed might be a small scratch or minor ding that I did not see. Bid with confidence as I am only trying to rebuild my positive reputation on ebay after the last incident. ABOUT THE VEHICLE:
I WOULD LIKE AT LEAST $2000 FOR THE TRUCK AS/IS OR $1500 WITH OUT RIMS AND TIRES.(THIS IS MUCH LESS THAN WHAT I HAVE PUT IN THIS TRUCK)This is a nice truck for being twenty years old. It starts right up every time and the engine sounds great. The 5.7L V8 delivers an excellent amount of power. It does not smoke and there are no funny sounds. The brake booster is bad therefore the break light is on and also the idle intermittently surges a bit from a small vacuum leak in the booster. When I bought this truck, he automatic transmission did not shift past second gear so I had it replaced by another 4L60E that was guaranteed with warranty. Well the newer transmission is doing the same exact thing except this time it does not shift past third gear. I was told it could be either something in the electrical wiring to the transmission, he PC, or throttle position sensor. I do not want to put any more money into this truck as I am selling it for a lot less than what I have already invested. I still have the transmission that was pulled out of it and I can include it with the purchase of the truck since I have no use for it. I was told these 4L60E transmissions are expensive so if it is in fact a bad one, ou can have it rebuilt and sell it or use it for another GM truck. Power locks and windows work as they should and the cd player with remote sounds excellent. The blower fan for the A/C is not working so Im not sure if it blows cold. The four wheel drive works as it should but it does not light up on the dash when you engage it in 4 HI, LOW OR NUETRAL. Shift cable needs to be replaced.
Exterior:
The outside is in very good shape considering the age and mileage. It does have some very minor bufffable scratches on the sides and a few small minor dings here and there. You will see in the pictures where there is some rust on the rocker panel on the passenger side(see pic). There is a spot the size of a golf ball on the bottom portion of both front fender that is cracked. (see pic) I did not note any other areas with rust and the undercarriage is clean and rust free. The hood has a dent in the very front right above the latch but the bug deflector conceals it a little.. It has a lift kit on it but not sure if its 4" or 6". The tires are near new Nankung MudStar 33 X 12.5 X 15.
Interior:
The interior is clean. The driver seat is in great shape and looks to have been recently reupholstered but as you can see the passenger seat has a tear and been taped up with green tape.(Why on earth green tape? I dont know, didnt do it!!) I have two Mossy Oak camo seat covers that I can include if you want. The rear fold down bench seat shows minor wear. Dash has a small crack and the fold down door for the multiple 12v receptacles does not stay latched shut. All gauges work perfectly. Has cruise control but I never tried to use it so Im not sure if it is functional. PLEASE REVIEWPICTURES CAREFULLY IN CASE I HAVE MISSED A MINOR DETAIL IN MY DESCRIPTION.
All in all for the year this truck is a good running four wheel drive vehicle. Transmission needs to be looked at and figure out what the problem is.
