The story I got was the truck was ordered new by a logging company in grants pass Oregon and usedas abus for loggers from the camp to where they werelogging at and it really only got used for short distances in the woods! The logging company replacedit in 1964 with a new suburbanand sold this one to the guy I bought it from ( he also bought that one lol)! he drove it for a short time then parked it in the barn to be restored at another time! I got it when he decided it was not going to happen for him and I purchased it to use as a parts runner and billboard for my business and when I got it safe to drive I closedThat business and no longer need it! my loss your gain!It has been completely re wired and the fuel system cleaned the Huck stylebrakes were gone threw and all wheel cylinders replaced! the engine was then gone through and all gasketswere changed except rear main seal and it seeps slightly but not bad! Thehead was cleaned up with new valve seals and the cylinder walls were perfect so the bottom end was cleanedlubed and re sealed andthe thing runs great!The starter and water pumpwas rebuiltand all belts and hoses were changed!The radiator was pulled flushed and pressure checked and put back in! The upholstery was done with a good quality marine vinyl(Cappuccino and mocha color)by me and is not perfect but looks very good!This (suburban, aneltruck, arryall, r van) is ready to be yours It still needs your touch to make it your own and the front springs need replacing or remove the broken ones and lighten up the spring rate! you will not find a more original patinayet mostly restoredpanel in my opinion for this price please look close and ask any questions before you bid! this truck runs and drives good enough to loadon a trailer or transporter but does not have plates or tags on it and must be trailered from here or registered in your name at the time of sale!I described it to my best ability but probably forgot some stuff so please feel free toask or tellme any thing relevant to this vehicle!
