This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette is one of the most desirable combination of Engine Trans and Horsepower the vehicle is equipped with a 427 V8 with 425hp ad coupled to a smooth shifting 4 Speed trans we replaced the case and have the original. The vehicle still retains its original motor as noted by the Vin stamped on the block we believe, nock-offs and side pipes are also original to the vehicle. The vehicle is finished in its original colors and the paint is good. There are a few blemishes and chips and nicks from road use body is very solid and straight, oors line up as they should and the fit and finish is superb. The vehicle has had some track history and raced privately throughout the 80’s. We have a track log book from various events that will go with the car. The car has been recently gone through mechanically and is very sound, ere at Precious Metals we rebuilt the engine for the client 2 years ago and it was completed to correct engine specs to the era. We also did the brakes and well as a few items that were not working including turn signals, peedo cable, tc.. This is a very strong running car in very presentable condition and it’s one of the Top Dog’s of ‘66 and a highly desirable example in today’s collector car market.
