1998 Chevrolet S10 Extended Cab Pickup Truck w/ Jasper Motor V6 .60 over 20 MPG

Hello and thank you for Bidding! You are on Bidding on a super rare and super clean, 998 Chevrolet S10 Extended Cab. There is much to say about this truck, o please bear with me and read everything, s I will be as descriptive as I possibly can! This truck was ordered directly from GM from a state employee in 1997. My buddy ordered the truck for the gentleman (who was his co-worker), nd performed all of the maintenance on the truck since it was brand new. The original owner sold the truck to my buddy a few years later, ho is a highly decorated mechanic for 30 years. He kept detailed logs of everything that was done to the vehicle while in his possession. My neighbor is maticulous and he ordered and replaced nearly everything brand new for the truck, sing only OEM GM factory parts. The motor threw a bearing at 110K, o my neighbor purchased a Jasper 4.3L V6, nd had it bored .60 over (documents included) to give it a little extra pep. If you are not familiar, asper is one of if not the best big name brand who provide quality built engines, nd they provide all of their motors with 3 year 100,000 mile warranties! This motor only has 40K miles on it! It has ALWAYS been run with 5W-30 FULL synthetic! I always admired the truck and how clean it was, o when I had an opportunity to purchase it last year, bought it immediately! It has been a perfect truck, nd I have had ZERO issues with it. I unfortunately have to upgrade to something bigger, s I am having my first child in August, nd I just had shoulder surgery to boot, o the 5-speed is tough on me. My loss is your gain. The vehicle was garage kept all but 2 years of its life. It was never in any accidents, nd it has all of the GM stickers still on all of the fenders and doors. It has the rare factory sport suspension, hich is lower to the ground and performs better than standard. The vehicle runs perfect! No warning codes, o smoke, o leaks. There is honestly too many receipts and parts to go over everything, ut the folder with all the records comes with the truck. The truck has Bridgestone tires (Still tread left, ut may need replaced around winter) mounted on some wide Chevy Rims. The stance looks beautiful! There is a leather Tonneau cover installed on the bed as well. There is nothing wrong at all with this truck, nd I would NOT hesitate to drive this truck anywhere and back. • The Double din unit is also a DVD player, nd the unit is hacked meaning you can watch DVD and operate all functions while you are driving. There is a 10 GB hard drive you can store music on also.
• If you know anything about these trucks, ou will know that a Double Din unit does not fit these vehicles. I had to have this professionally installed. An OEM dash bezel from a 2004 Blazer was purchased and used for this custom stereo swap. There had to be a custominstallationkit to fit as well. Very expensive to have this done to this truck.

THE BAD:
The only imperfection on the trucks body is two small spots of rust, nd slight bubbling on the cab, ehind the passenger door. IT sits low and is not verynoticeableunless you are looking for it. Every Chevy truck rots out here, ut this is the best I have ever seen, s the truck was garage kept for so many years, t surely helped.
I just had the AC recharged, nd it was literally blowing 32 degrees on a 91 degree day, t was bone chilling cold. 2 days ago I took the truck to the hardware store for a couple of items, nd the AC was no longer cold. There is an apparent leak somewhere, am sure it is a small easy fix, ut it never did that before. The truck always had perfect, old AC. . If I can get it over to my mechanic and have him look at it, will, utthat may need to be addressed with the new buyer.
Extras / Inclusions:
I will include the OEM SIngle CD player, nd the Dash bezel, f the buyer decides they want it.The original Pioneer Stereo box and all manuals will also be included.I have a backup camera as well that I will throw in the Pioneer box, f someone wants to get it installed. Good for when you are using a trailer.All of the records and paperwork I have for the truck.There are Chevrolet all weather mats for the driver and passenger side fronts, hey were just not in the photos because I was cleaning them at the time.
