Custom 8 qt oil race pan.Trans-----rebuilt turbo 350, 800 miles on build, uilt to hold the new power of the 383. super duty.
Rear end---3.37 pos, riginal, luids changed, nspected and operates very good.
Under body--- Great shape, s close to rust free as a 36 year old car can get. Very good.
Fiberglass body----Great shape, o repairs from what I have noticed. Hood is an L-82 hi-rise, eeded for engine clearance. Very good quality.
Paint----An old "maco paint job" that has seen better days. Don't get me wrong, ooks fine but was never on the top of the list of things to do. A Few chips and and flaws. If you love shiny paint jobs It may be time to get one.
Interior----Original and in very good shape. minor flaws on dash and door panels. Radio and booster sound very good. Gauges all work. However, il and temp have been unplugged and "Auto meters" have been installed at hood line. Never trust OEM gauges for critical info.
Cooling--- No heating problems, he stays within the 160-185 range depending on use and daytime temp. 3 core aluminum rad. "flex-a-lite electric fan", ater pump"Edelbrock", 60 thermostat.
Exhaust---headers, .5 inch dual exhaust into super 44 flowmasters. No cats installed. If cats are needed where you are at I recommend some "Summit Mag" hi-flow cats. Easy and cheap to install.
Suspension----Rear leaf replaced with a (Rated 340 lb) fiberglass leaf. New hi-per shocks installed 2 years ago. Rubber bushings are old but still work good.
Alarm and remote locks---Yes
Repairs needed---1. Car Ant. in up position 2. Door window motors work great, rivers side is new. But, he new weather stripe fights the glass as it goes up or down...needs adjusting. 3. Parking brake cable not installed due to dual exhaust. 4. Horn inop, ust went off on me one night so I took the guts out from under the horn button. Never got around to fixing the horn. 5. Small volt draw. If car left for 3-4 days it will be dead. Never a real problem because I use a remote battery kill switch.
