Description

So I just found out I'm going to have a kid, o this beast needs to get replaced by something more family oriented. Yukon here I come. This car easily puts out over 800HP on the Dynojet. Its been tuned here in California by Izzy Performance out of Gardena on their Dynojet machine. They kept it at a nice highly reliable 810HP. The engine could put out a bit more but since I don't go to the track this amount already makes the wheels spin even at highway speeds if you hit it hard. I've done several performance and cosmetic upgrades to the car since I got it. And the engine is purchased from Thompson Motorsports last year 11/14 and has a 1 year unlimited miles warranty on it still. Here is a run down on the upgrades:
Engine Internals:
Thompson Motorsports balanced and blueprinted new LS3 aluminum block Gen IV 416ci 9.5-1 compression
Thompson Motorsports forged and performance turned crankshaft
King racing chamfered main bearings
ARP main stud bolts
King Racing narrowed rod bearings
ARP 8740 rod bolts
Thompson Motorsports connecting rods 4340 H-beam
Thompson Motorsports custom ground camshaft for forced induction .612 .612 236 250 115+4
GMPP cam bearing set
Diamond pistons with -15cc reliefs
Thompson Motorsports ring set
Thompson Motorsports LS2/LS7 lifter set
Short block rated at 900HP by Thompson Motorsports
High pressure Melling Oil pump
LS2 timing chain
Thompson Motorsports hardened pushrods
The heads have been run through Texas Speeds CNC program to port and polish and allow for the bigger Thompson Motorsports stainless steel intake and exhaust valves.
Brian Tooley Racing dual valve springs with titanium retainers and new valve seats good to .650" lift
The rockers are brand new GM factory set recommended by Kyle Thompson from Thompson Motorsports
They sit on top of GM MLS head gaskets secured with Thompson Motorsports head studs.
Engine externals:
Fast 102mm intake/ Nick Williams polished throttle body
East Coast supercharging 10 rib Vortech YSi kit
3.25 upper pulley
Polished head unit and powder coated black brackets
The setup makes 11 PSI, ut is rated and capable of going up to 31 psi.
It is a scavenger unit that uses oil from the engine to lubricate it.
There is an air to air intercooler mounted up front with a TiAL blow off valve.
The fuel system is a Livernois Motorsports Dual Fuel Pump and
Injector Dynamics ID1000 injectors.
It runs an Alky Control dual nozzle methanol injection system setup to run straight M-1 methanol. yellow can.
The pump is mounted below the driver side headlight and is covered with an Alky Controls protector to keep out the rain and road debris.
There is an AEM digital data log wideband (power and ground wires for logging ran under driver side rocker trim panel) and AEM digital boost gauge in the driver side pillar.
The activation LED light for the meth kit is next to the boost gauge.
The methanol control box is mounted in the center arm rest with adjustable settings and a test button.
I've got a Morosso aluminum catch can to relieve crankcase pressure all lined up properly to prevent blowback from the FI.
There are two QTP electric exhaust cut outs with the switch on the dash next to the radio. Sounds MEAN.
Americam Racing 1 7/8" long tube headers and collectors.
American Racing mid pipe with no cats.
I changed the mufflers to Flowmasters but the car originally had Borlas. This way I have the option of a quieter ride for normal day to day use but I can tune the exhaust note with the QTP's.
I will include the Borlas to the winner in case they want to change them back for some reason
The car rides on Nitto NT05 20's in the front with NT05R's in the rear. they have about 80% life in them. I have another set of rear NT05R's waiting when these wear out that I will include for free to the winner.
Suspension:
Factory Brembo 6-piston calipers
BMR Bolt-in Sub Frame Connectors in black
PHADT lowering springs
BMR suspension front and rear sway bars
Transmission:
Factory TR-6060 with an upgraded Monster 11" ceramic clutch kit with upgraded aluminum high heat clutch bearing rated at 800 Torque.
Tick Performance remote bleeder.
New flywheel factory weight.
Cosmetics and Audio:
Tail lights and marker lights have been tinted with vinyl, ear trunk panel blacked out, ront and rear bowties painted flat black, amaro emblems are plastidip flat black.
Windows are medium tinted.
The headlights are HID's with angel eyes. The turn signal markers are all LED's front and rear.
The hood has been flat black vinyl wrapped. The rear spoiler wing is also flat black now. I will include the original inferno orange rear wing with the vehicle.
The wheels are Forgestar F14’s in flat black. 20x10 in the rear with Nitto NT05R 315/35, 0x9 in front with Nitto NT05’s. Wheels have no curb rash or damage. Wheels and tires alone came in at over $3,000. Tires do not need to be replaced. The TPS sensors were set at 30psi, o the low tire pressure sensor light will be on unless you are running that much tire pressure. Any tire shop can adjust the sensors desired psi.
The stereo system has been completely upgraded to an Alpine 8.1" touchscreen DVD player. It is one of the best on the market with Navigation, luetooth, ux, sb, andora, everse camera. There are 6x9" Alpines in the rear deck and Alpine components in the doors and a custom built 10" Alpine subwoofer in the rear with an Alpine 5 channel running it all. You are looking at a real 600 watt RMS system.
I will even include over 20 movies and some music videos on DVD I burned in the deal.
Extra Information:
This car is mean. There is a learning curve at this power level and I suggest leaving the traction and stability control on once you start getting into full throttle until you get familiar with the power curve. The car still retains AC and power steering. Turn the key and go. The methanol only sprays under boost and the factory windshield washer reservoir is the tank for the methanol. A heavy footed driver should expect to fill the tank every 400 miles. Locally, can get M-1 for $30 for a 5 gallon drum.
Even in stop and go traffic the coolant stays where it should and engine oil temps stay between 210-230 even on hot days. The clutch is very street friendly and the pedal is just a little heavier than from the factory. Even without the cats, he car is quite enough while driving to hold a normal conversation inside the car. If you open the cut outs it will make the angels cry…fair warning.
There are no random leaks of any fluids. The underside is clean and rust free. The interior is in great shape. No wear marks or tears in the cloth seats. All plastic panels are in great shape. No cracks or major gouges. The carpet is also in great shape, long with the floor mats. No stains or wear marks that you would find near the gas pedal. I will also include a new car cover with the car. Comes with the bag.
The only downsides are in the drivetrain. If you plan on taking this to the track and launching hard you are going to need to replace the rear end or get a set of axles. You wont have any issues driving on the street with the factory setup. The TR-6060 transmissions in these cars are extremely stout even under these HP levels.
Switching the fuel system to E85 and swapping to a smaller upper pulley will put this car well over 900HP. Cars with similar setups are making at, nd above, 000HP running around 20-24psi. I didn’t want to get that crazy with it and I like being able to not have to worry about finding E85 in my area.If you’re are in a warmer climate, inding E85 wont be a problem like it is in northern states. The motor was built for high boost and high HP. The way the car sits it is 100% mechanically sound and needs nothing to make it drive able or street worthy. All aftermarket parts were purchased new (have receipts) and are in perfect working order.
Any serious interested parties feel free to call Frank at 213-507-5466 with any questions regarding this vehicle. I have video of car running I can send you.
