1963 Chevrolet Corvette

Here is a beautiful first year Stingray 1963 Corvette convertible in the rare Daytona Blue exterior with Dark Blue Interior and White convertible top, ll original born-with colors. A striking color combination in my humble opinion. The trim tag verifies these as the original colors. Very clean Florida car.The engine is the very desirable L-76 327 cubic inch, 40 horsepower small block. The engine is the original born-with engine with numbers matching to the VIN and number plate under the dash. This is an original solid lifter, igh revving motor. Zora Duntov's favorite engine! The engine was professionally rebuilt just 2,000 miles ago. Great build, he engine runs cool, trong, nd delivers very smooth power. It has the original four speed manual Muncie M-20 transmission.Beautiful convertible top with new weather stripping and crystal clear rear window.New gas tank, ew stainless steel exhaust, ew battery, ew front suspension parts.New carburetor- not correct OEM, ut runs great and starts on command!Recent new radiator is not its born-with original, ut it runs cool and looks proper.Four new American Racing mag wheels and radial tires, 0R17's all around. (I don't have the original wheels/hubcaps).Starts every time, uns strong, mooth and cool. Older repaint, till shines and presents very nicely, ut has some blemishes. Chrome is nice, xcellent stainless trim and brightwork, ery very nice original interior. The doors have the 1-year only raised pads at the door handles. All of the body gaps are beautiful, uite rare for a convertible! While this is not an NCRS Top Flight type car, hat it is is a great "driver quality", UMBERS MATCHING first year mid-year Convertible Corvette that you can jump in drive today, nd if you so chose, ake it to the next level very easily. All of the hard to find parts are there and in good shape. Known non-original items are: radiator, lternator,carburetor. These are not the born-with items, ut are period correct. Wheels of course are not originals. Clock is there but does not work. Aftermarket radio is not hooked up. All very easy things to put "right" if you want to take this car to "NCRS judging" level. I'd rather just drive it and have fun, nd that's what this car is all about.
