We recently went on a semi- long but very roomy road trip in a highway happy 1960 Pontiac Catalina and had all the fun we expected with a "driveway delivery" to a momentarily confused but quickly elated client who I befriended....like usual and was sure he was going to say........"NICE"!........!
We found a few cars along the way and this one happens to be a TASTY TWEENER with all the upside a classic car can offer because the offerings to the NEVER GETTING THAT MONEY BACK GODS have been going strong for many moons.
Let's just make the receipt totals rain and let those abundance of the parts, rivetrain components convince you that a nice looking car is not always the best option especially when looking nice in the garage is as far as it goes......after the lessons have been taught via flatbeddedness.
Do the math and work those totals as they explain the state of internal affairs....She is not far way from being wicked on every level but far from the wickedness coming into the garage with visa bills, lankets and a small throw pillow.....
She has a less then 12k mile fully stroked 283 with around 310HP and TH350 automatic transmission with the 4:11 posi rear end. She sounds healthy and her engine compartment is the stuff dreams were made of and what day dreams push for.

Now the "not that bad at all" portion of the confessional. The paint is older but has that 23 foot look of confidence that is quickly thwarted only to be regained as the effort to finish her, ike the vision once promised, ot way to far from practical. He spent a total of 30k over the last 5 years and now all that she needs is that red lipstick and some fresh bumpers that are abundant with browser skill. You could enjoy her like she is and live a little or be into her for 25-26k when over and be the guy who waited.......for this to happen, gain and again and again.
A VERY SOLID CAR, S YOU PROBABLY ALREADY GUESSED WITH THE WORK DONE....
Cant go wrong......Unless you have the same thing in the garage and you are getting your cot ready for another "camping" trip.
