Description

This 1956 Chevrolet 210 Del Rey 2 Door Sedan is a CaliforniaNative. I am technically the third owner, owever, he 2nd owner ended up marrying the first owner, o two owner (?). This car is coming up on 60 years old and she's still turning heads.

I do not want to represent this car as something that it is not.PLEASE read entiredescription. It will need some wor, ut I have already done a lot, specially modifications. It runs very strong andhas a very decent body withno cancer. I guarantee that if you start tearing this apart, ou are only going to find road dirt and grime and some surface rust. The floors, runk, ockers, heel wells, reasabove the headlights and all the areas that you would normally find cancer in somecars that come from areas with snoware all clean with some surface rust only and absolutelyNO cancer. Inside of trunk is very clean (see picture). Car does have some bondo that is flaking off in certain areas. There are a few dents here and there. Stainless steel is in really good shape, and is virtually dent free. I have the name of a stainless steel polish that will bring it back to showroom condition. Windows are fair, ut passenger side door window is cracked. Driver side door regulator will need to be replaced. The weatherstripping and window seals are all becoming brittle and fragile. Seats are passable. This car is already a respectable driver with a nice patina. If you want to build a show car, his is an above average starter and could be built without breaking the bank! Will need some minor electrical work under the dash (just to get all of the lights and the heater fan working). I am going to check the fuses to see if I can get everything working.

Now for the good:

350 CI with mild cam, delbrock high rise manifold and Edelbrock 600CFM 4 barrel.Switched to alternator.

Billet alumninum distributor and MSD coil,

700R4 transmission and Olds Cutlass 2:73 rear end.

(This baby purrs at 80 MPH)

2 1/2" drop spindles with 1" drop springs (3 1/2" total)and disc brakes on the front with a 2 1/2" drop in the rear gives it a nice raked look.

New leaf springs.

$1,200 worth ofwheels and new tires.

1000 Cold Cranking Amps Battery. Moved from engine compartment to trunk.
