You are looking at a 1947 Chevrolet Sedan delivery. I started the body off restoration. Had the main body, rame, nd doors sand blasted. Replaced the floors from the firewall all the way to the back door. Eliminating all the rust completely. Refabricated the rear door, nd hinged it at the top to open similar to a hatch back. It is alot lighter and is really differant. This allowed us to build a rear tail light, nd rear gas tank filler panel in the lower rear of the body. (THIS WAS A HUGE JOB) Painted the frame, nd assembled the front disc brake suspension. Installed the ford 8.8 disc brake rear end. New brakes complete with new lines. Reinstalled the main body, nd the engine and transmission. The engine is a 1954 chevrolet 235 cu in, nd a 2 speed powerglide transmission. the engine and trans were rebuilt approx 4500 miles ago. (He said) I have not receipts. The guy had completely restored his 54 belair, nd then drove it up into canada on vacation. He spared no expense on the restoration. He decided to go with a 350 crate engine, and sold me the engine and trans for my 47. It as you can see in the pictures came with the dual carb set up, ntake and exhaust manifolds are dual, nd are manufactured by Fenton. I have all of the dash, nd interior items needed to reassemble, fter they are restored. I have a set of denali leather front seats. The reason I picked them is they have the factory seat belts integrated with the seats. They are also heated and electric. The front body panels are bolted on with a few bolts, ut will come off with little work. I had planned to do a rat rod look when I started, nd was going to use other parts for the front and have the engine exposed. I changed my mind and purchased this front end. I have an extra hood that goes with the car as well. So much to say about this great project. But will stop now. The reason I did not finish, nd am selling. I came across a 1965 impala SS with factory ac, nd a 409. I fell in love and the rest is history. The panel will roll, nd can be shipped easily. I will box all of the parts and secure them in the panel as needed for secure shipping. Email me with questions as you feel the need. Thanks and happy bidding.
