ExteriorImpala is painted in ’67 Grenada Gold and has only a couple minor chips in the paint. The body and paint are in excellent condition, hrome and molding has either been refinished from original pieces or sourced from NOS parts, here are only a few pieces on the entire car that are reproduction. Small details such as the powder coated lower bumper and new Soft Ray tinted glass and other touches from the Caprice model are among many that make up the excellent looking exterior.InteriorFawn interior just like the outside is in great shape. Only some minor wear can be seen on the Caprice sourced door panels. Koch restored steering wheel is in excellent condition, wner was supplied additional matching paint from wheel restoration to color match the entire dash. Speedometer housing was also restored and rechromed. Floor mats are also NOS.MechanicalCar was originally equipped with a 327 but during restoration a 396 and turbo 400 sourced from a Caprice wagon were installed. Engine has not been rebuilt but showed good compression in the cylinders. This Impala is well optioned with power seats, ower brakes, teering, owered strato bench seat, ower windows, ilt steering, ower top and vacuum trunk release. Engine runs well, ransmission shifts as it should but indicator is a little off in the column. No surprises from steering or suspension. Air conditioning blows cold. For those of you that watch our car sales regularly, he 1963 Impala wagon we have for sale is also owned by the same person. This is a beautifully restored example of a 1966 Impala convertible with many NOS parts.Details down to the restored bumper jack show the level of work that went into this car.
