1982 CHEVROLET CORVETTE

1982 Corvette “barn find” Not sure you would call it a barn but It was in heated storage since 1999. Car was owned by that couple since then and they repainted it in 2006 at a very premium price. After that 2006 paint job it was put on blocks and had been there until just now. The story of this cars storage and why it was stored and not driven since 2006 goes with the buyer of the car as its not my place to spill it all over ebay. It is a very touching story though. I came across the car and helped to get it running (plugs. il. led brakes. ixed some fuses. etc etc and brought it home to keep. As fate would have it…I cant keep it. Car has 80. 00 original miles. numbers matching. new tires. It has black leather seats with no tears. A/C. cruise although both are present but don’t work but everything else does. Glass t-tops are great condition and L-83 cross-fire injected motor. The real appeal of this car is the deep factory Red with black interior. Car needs alittle TLC but if you know corvettes you will know this car Is a perfect place to start. If you don’t know corvettes and just wanna buy this one cuz its reasonably priced you will be pleased as well but just know it needs TLC. Corvette runs and drives and stops as I drove it 45 mins away to my home. I would not drive it more than but I know it would make it and that’s up to you. Its been sitting in my heated garage and have noticed NO leaks. Car is unmolested as from what I can tell only the 2 mufflers have been replaced and all exhaust pipe leading to it is still stock. Engine bay is stock. NO MODS. According to the paint receipt that cost pretty close to what Im asking to get back out of the car. NO Dash cracks…. Car is a perfect start to your project
