you are looking at one of the top 10 kustom cars of all time from 1963 car craft mag. and also top pick in hot rod annual 1963. there so many mag coverage it take up this whole space. I got some also with the car in them all way up to date. not 1 part on this car is from another car, ts all handformed .GOOD GUYS PICK this past show this year in fla. also LEAD EAST PICK last year, nd the year before that asked to come up to the show and be honored to be inside with other famous cars at the SYRACUSE NATIONALS .a special honor for sure to be among famous drag car, customs, INFIELD customs. GENE even signed the poster board of the car. only 3 were asked to beat the front entrance of the building. and this car was one of them ( the first 4 photos are at the SYRACUSE NATIONALS displayed inside ). this car still gets firsts, est of, eoples choice, tc where ever it goes local and long distance shows, nd as I mentioned always places at national events. now for the neat stuff. its got a 65 327 vet with 6 duces which all are hooked up and work. they are set to a tee, nstalled 3 years ago and not touched since. it never loads up in stand still traffic, uns cool 160 degrees all day even in stop and go traffic never goes higher than 180..and starts on the firs turn. gets 17.3 mpg at 3,000 as the rear end has 411-posi so ur at 65 mph and that's exc mpg I think for that combo. but if u go over 3,000 rpm ur looking at 10-12 mpg. engine is perfect in everyway. nice high reving typical small block of the yesteryears. its 30 over and fully bal.internals. reliable as hell drive anywhere any distance, ny amt of hour, orry free!!.the interior is original to the build and is in perfect cond its naugahyde and the paint is perfec, if theres a best paint award at a show this car gets it all the time. besides other awards..the chassis is perfect with cut springs on front and blocks in the rear with air shocks, could see old school traction master brackets still on the car rear susp. was a drag car for a long time before kustomized. thus low low miles. always parked in indoor venues at shows or in a garage, r showroom, gain low miles.the speedo just started acting up about 500 miles ago I think its the cable.the car drives great steering tight, nd alligment is perfect. no pull even when brakes applied hard. still old school brakes are fine. no leaks or funny noises either. only drops a small amt of fluid when parked for several weeks or so, hen when taked out it stops asap. no electric fuel pump here still old school man. pump and when left for several days or weeks it takes a few turns to run the fuel back to the carbs, the car was built by the famous MARV RINGHEIM had a corvette custom shop in Portland Oregon. although it has a slight barris tie in its inspired design espically of the rear end treatment. barris signed the car and the copy of the regestraition that has his nameon it in place of bel=air on that paperwork outa respect for the famous customizer whos influenced the design of this car. I know this as I spoke to barris himself while showing the car at a big show he was attending.and of course theres a lot of people who say the same thing everywhere when I take this car where famous builders are there! please look at the photos real car is lazer straight, eliable to drive as I said anywhere any distance. if u don't mind going 65mph it will go cross country of u wish. burns or leaks no oil ever.too much to list here thes so much history on this car.
