1965 Chevrolet Impala SS convertible Rotisserie Frame Off Restoration

Up for auction at reserve is perhaps one of the finest examples of a 1965 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport Convertible. This Impala went through a highly meticulous rotisserie restoration wherein all of the components were painstakingly addressed, ebuilt and cosmetically detailed. This is no expense sparred restoration. The Floor boards were completely massaged and painted Danube blue body color, long with floor braces and clear coated in PPG Concept. The chassis was stripped to bare steel, poxy and shot base then clear jet black for a serious contrast. The fit and finish on all panels are above average and present very well. The 396 has been completely overhauled and runs super strong and drives like a Dream,4 speed shifts as good as it looks. All new underpinnings,wiring, onvertible hydraulics, op frame was blasted and professionally refinished. All trim and moldings were either restored,replated and or replaced with new (no short cuts), orrect 1965 ss Interior from Cars Inc. Pacific Blue vinyl top, loorboard (top side) under Auto Custom Carpet laid in satin Red Oxide as well as all seat springs after media blasting. The front grille has been professionally reanodized and is strikingly beautiful. 12 bolt posi-traction rear 3:55 completely gone through,stripped and base coat clear coat jet black,to match the rest of the underside components.
