This is a rare truck and a 5-window cab. I purchased the truck locally and the gentleman owned the truck for the last 20 years. It is an older restoration from the mid 90’s however as you can see the truck is still in beautiful condition. The paint colors are an absolute drop dead knockout in Cocoa brown and Miami Sand with Mahogany Brown trim…From what I could find. I do believe that all three colors are 54 GMC colors. The paint is lacquer paint. The paint is in pretty good condition and it doesn’t really look to be 20 years old but more like 7 or 8 maybe. There are several touched up spots here and there and it’s not perfect but it has been well maintained. It is rust free and a straight all steel body including the running boards. It’s a very nice looking truck as you can see in the many pictures. The interior was restored to original and it is hard not to love that original GMC style. The GMC dash is very unique. This truck does have working turn signals front and rear and the lights all work including the tag light. The truck has been upgraded to a 12 volt system. The horn blows nice and loud and emergency brake holds tight. The gauges that works are the temperature. oil pressure and volt meter gauge. The gauges that do not work are the fuel gauge and the speedometer doesn’t work. The radio does not work either. The heater does work and blows hard. The glass is in great condition as you can see in the pictures. The engine is the original 248ci in line six-cylinder. The engine pad/serial number is E248203454 and the casting number is 6107328. The motor starts right up and runs like a sewing machine. I had the truck completely serviced including oil and filter change. engine coolant. carburetor tuned and adjusted. chassis lube. transmission serviced. and so forth. The truck runs. drives. shifts. and brakes well and the truck is dead ready to go as far as I can tell or do. I have been driving the truck a little and I wouldn’t hesitate driving it anywhere. The bottom line is that this is an exceptionally nice truck and it is a rare find.
