You are bidding on a 1968 Super Sport 396 Camaro rally red in color. The motor has the Chevrolet Winter's Foundry early L89 style aluminum snowflake heads and snowflake intake. These are the same performance heads reported as used on the ZL-1 427. It was reported to me that the engine is an L89 style engine and after many years of having Chevrolet muscle cars it runs like one too! I'm not a dealer and am just selling due to other interests. The exhaust is Hooker Competition plus headers with flowmaster mufflers out to chrome tips. Power steering. Power brakes. Muncie Four Speed (M21 I believe but could be M20). deluxe interior. factory console with guage package to include tic-tac-toc. The clock isn't working but every other indicator is. Wheels and tires are Kumho 245-50R16 on American Racing 5-spoke aluminum wheels. The rear-end is a DANA 60 sure-grip style positive traction and to the best I can tell by rotation it is approximately 3. 56:1 ratio with traction bars. I installed a new front spoiler. new wheel well trim. new reveal molding. new aluminum spears trim under the rockers. nbsp;new window felts and new center dash molding. rebuilt the heater arm controls with steel arms and installed new Astro Ventilation balls. Deluxe interior is nice with no tears and a grab bar above the glove box. I believe one seat has been recovered but it matches very closely and is not noticeable. The paint/body is laser straight but there is a tiny dimple on right front fender but not noticeable at all. The doors open straight with no sag and body. The trunk is solid and in excellent shape as are the weather strip moldings; i. e. no leaks! This Camaro is quick basic old school muscle and will make someone an excellent muscle car and is as clean as you could ever want. Note: the carburetor is a Holley 650 cfm double pumper which is adequate but if you want max out of this motor. you'll need to go to a 750 double pumper. Just in time for spring/summer months. someone will have a thrill owning this car! For questions. I can be reached at 601-540-7621 after 6pm any day during the week. Important: The odometer shows 37280 miles but I have no way of knowing what the actual miles are.
