BODYWORK/TRIM
Of the many reasons to love the third generation of America's sports car, tyle is certainly high on the list. ENGINE
Beneath the sculpted hood you'll find the car's original "3963512" branded L36 (LM) V8, hich was assembled in Flint, ichigan (F) on October (10) 3rd, 03) 1969 and stamped with a matching partial VIN. Straight from the factory, his beefy big block utilized high performance internals to twist stout 10.25 to 1 compression into an even 390 horsepower! At the peak of the pavement-scorching mill, polished and decaled air cleaner swirls wind into a familiar Winters intake by way of a reliable Quadrajet carburetor. At the sides of that intake, orrect, ast iron heads hang stamped and polished valve covers over cast iron exhaust manifolds. And at the back of those heads, chrome-capped ignition system sequences spark through sleeved plug wires. When fired, he infamous 427 rumbles like an old school stoplight slayer. Its ancillary components are top notch in every way, ith GM-branded hoses, rust-free master cylinder and a correct Harrison expansion tank accompanying reproduction tower clamps, rebuilt alternator and a fresh aluminum radiator. And bright Chevy Orange engine skin is seated in a clean, atin Black frame.
DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION
Peer under this low-slung roadster and you'll find a factory chassis that's straight, olid and ready for its close-up. The car's hot 427 twists torque through an original Muncie 4-speed, hich hangs a Muncie (P) M21 (B) assembled on June (H) 19th, 19) 1969 (9) build stamp between a correct 3925660 casting number and matching partial VIN. Beneath that drivetrain, fully rebuilt suspension combines optional power steering with tight turns and increased grip.
