1996 Impala SS MINT condition, riginal owner, NLY 10,410 miles, dark green-gray metallic. The car has EVERY option available. I have the original window sticker, ill of sale, opy of certificate of origin, nd numerous other documents the salesman gave me at the time of purchase, long with, wo original dealer brochures and all the original car books that came with the car: owner's manual with original case, ld registrations, nd NY State Inspection paperwork.
The car has been garaged and never out in the rain or snow. We take the car for pleasure drives to keep everything lubricated and it goes right back into the garage, don't like my cars in the sun! The car looks like new, o damage, he inside is like new. It even still has that new car smell and no has ever sat in the back seat! All original glass. The underside still has all the factory stickers on it.
The car was NOT dealer prepped. We brought it home, and washed the car, emoved all the plastic protection and removed all the stickers. I have the other stickers as well as the original window sticker. My wife helped me wax it by and with Zymol Wax and special rags. The car has only been hand washed by me, ever in a car wash, nd no buffing machine has touched the paint. I even saved the large vinyl door guides GM used in 1996 for shipping protection.
The oil and filter was changed at 347 miles and 896 miles during break in. I change the oil myself. I put oil in the GM filter before installation and always let the oil drain for 3-4 hours. After the engine break in period I switched to Mobil 1 oil. The anitfreeze has been changed. I also purchased a new antifreeze overflow tank while they were still available that is included in the sale. The car is greased with a hand grease gun. I recently had the transmission filter, ear end, nd brake fluids changed with GM fluids by a small local shop that works specifically on classic cars.
In addition, purchased the following items that are included with the sale of the car: two large GM Service Manuals published by Helm Publications for GM, 996 Impala SS GM Ventviser rain guards, till sealed in the GM packaging, Colgan Car Bra, ew in original box, ever used, nd two new GM oil filters.
