Paint and Story;
Original owner passed away and his best friend bought it from his wife as they had agreed on years before. The original owner Mr. Bridges started sanding the driver fender to repaint the car. When his best friend bought it he sprayed it primer black to preserve the car. Anything that had been done prior to this body wise I am not aware of. When I got the car I began to wet sand the black off and after getting about a 1/4 of the car done, was done sanding lolololol. So then it was sprayed in a primer Lemon Wood Yellow and scotch brite padded as you see it now.
The Motor was also pulled and completely rebuilt and reinstalled just a week ago Sunday. No machining was done to the block!! New rods, ings, earings, am and Crank all installed, lock painted and put back in the car.
Floors are solid with Factory uncoat and Frame rails are as well. The Car drives very tight.

Please, nderstand what this is and the rarity of it.... this is NOT a malibu SS or clone SS or even SS with non original motor or even a true SS matching number..... put not original one owner.... THIS IS a 1 owner, riginal true matching number Chevelle SS 396/360 Powerglide 2 door hard top.
Thanks for your interest and I hope it goes to the right home... I have taken it as far as I can afford and it is at a point where someone can nut/bolt restore for HUGE money value or someone can afford it as a car to drive and later restore fully if desire.

Since I've had one eBay Member: foghornracing confused about the 1 owner.... I'll clarify this is a one owner and titled car. Obviously my discription tells the story so there shouldn't be any confusion. This car is titled to the original owner/purchaser of the chevelle in 66. Also, t's been said this could be a 325hp, ut I've also been told chevy shipped 325hp stamped blocks as 360.....

I want to add clarification to a few things. I am sorry if I have stated anything incorrectly. I was going off information provided to me by the best friend who knew the car from the time it was originally purchased. First, used the term survivor meaning that it had not been completely restored. This was obviously not used to mean it was an untouched factory 100% original survivor. I believe my discription and photos explain that. Secondly I've gotten mixed opinions on the AC. I've had someone say it wasn't factory/dealer installed and I also have been told by someone else theirs came with the same AC....... Please look at all the pictures. I have tred to show detailed pictures of everything on the car. I have no interest in misleading anyone. Thanks for all feedback and support.
