1997 Chevrolet Cavalier LS Sedan 4-Door 2.4L

Up for NO RESERVE auction is 1997 Cavalier. This car ran and drove fine when I purchased it at auction they delivered it to me by driviing it and somewhere along the ride engine noise started. It makes a knocking noise. I am unsure of what is wrong with it or what part of the engine has failed. It has not been driven only started to move it around on our lot since then. We are selling it as needing a new engine but it may be able to be rebuilt. This car has blemishes in the paint including scratching rust dents and dings. The worst of the damage is on the hood it appears to have hit a deer. The vehicle is worth putting a junk yard motor in and would be a good daily driver at that point. Also when moving it around the lot we noticed as you stop the rear brakes trying to lock up. So assume it needs brake work as well.
NOTE I DO NOT RECOMMEND DRIVING THIS VEHICLE AS IS FOR MORE THAN A FEW MILES. It should be towed.
