Description

1968 Corvette L79 convertible 327ci/350+hp
I have brought this classic back to it's original glory over the last few years. We bought this car in May 2006 and it was in poor condition, nd it didn't even have the engine in it! Well, 've rebuilt the engine and brought it back to being correct as it was originally. Below is a detailed, ut not complete, ist of some of the work done and where it is at now. It has been appraised by Haggerty Ins at a score of 2.5/4.0 with an appraised value of $35,500.00. Bidding starts at only $26,000!!!! Please bring any reasonable offers. Thanks!
ASK FOR SKYPE / FACETIME SESSION TO VIEW THE CAR BEFORE COMING IN PERSON!!!

I bought this car in May 2006 as a project car. I have the original auction print-outs and documentation from the sale on eBay. I also have all receipts and photos documenting all my work since the purchase date. I've put $1K's and countless man hours into the car, ut we are willing to part with it for a reasonable offer. Below is a list that is as accurate and truthful as possible to my knowledge. Since purchase and throughout restoration I have only driven this car about 1,500 miles since the engine re-build. Odometer shows ~20,100 miles, ut I'd assume it has been rolled (~120,100). The tripmeter and odometer both work, ut the trip reset does not. All gauges work on dash. Speedometer has slight bounce at lower speeds. Mileage may be slightly more as I continue to drive it around town running errands, nd to cruise-ins.
All original, umbers matching, xcept for the engine block, nd heads but they are still period correct (details below).
Original option was 327ci / 350hp L79 convertible. Car came standard with no power brakes, o power steering, nd no A/C. Standard black interior with Safari Yellow paint.

New rocker panels (waiting on back-ordered uppers to arrive to install them onto car), ew door panels and vapor barriers using restored original trim components, ew chrome parts, tc. are also included. 90% of the items purchased to restore this car were purchased through Volunteer Vette Products. I also have the heat shield/sound deadener and carpet for the interior, long with weather stripping, acuum hoses, xtra bulbs, park plugs, nd numerous other misc hardware/items. Upon pick-up of the vehicle you may take any/all parts associated with this car, ven a few specialty tools (timing light/oil filter wrench). A new car cover, rom Corvette America, lso comes with the car. All original window glass is still in the car.
I have all my receipts, anuals, esearch information, D with photos of my work, nd contacts to go with the car for the new owner. This car is about 95% complete! Install the included interior, ncluded seals, ncluded vacuum hoses, nd replace a few trim items as needed and this will be a great 1-of-a-kind show car that you can drive! It's never driven in poor weather and is kept in an insulated garage. It runs and sounds great with a lot of power!
The frame is solid. I've wire-brushed everything and 'knocked' it and obtained solid 'sound' finding no rust holes or thin spots. The 'bird-cage' is in great condition as well. If anyone would like to see more photos please send me your email address I have hundreds on my PhotoBucket site, r I can email specific photos requested.
I will be glad to answer any and all questions as clearly and quickly as possible.
