2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Duramax Crew Cab

2006 Duramax Diesel with Crew Cab with 8 ft. bed. I bought this truck on Ebay in 2010 with about 150K on the odometer. It was a FL truck up to that point. It has been in Wisconsin since, ut never driven in winter, o it still is rust-free and clean underneath. I bought it to tow a fifth wheel in the summer. Of the 27K or so miles I put on it, ess than 10K were towing the RV. Prior to my owning it, t never had a fifth wheel hitch, ut did come with the typical frame hitch. It is a fantastic truck in good condition. Paint is in pretty good shape, xcept for the tops of the bed rails and some chips here and there. Interior is good with the driver's seat having a small 2-3" separation in the fabric that is easily repaired. Tires have about 50% on them. Runs and drives great. Doesn't smoke, oesn't use oil. Transmission is in excellent condition.
As mentioned above, ne dash-light on the left side doesn't work, his only affects seeing the transmission temp. gauge.
I can't say enough good things about the Duramax diesel. There is an unbelievable amount of power in these trucks! I wouldn't sell this truck, ut we sold our RV since the kids are off to college, nd are downsizing to smaller vehicles. The truck has never been smoked in. Comes with the fifth wheel hitch.
It gets good mileage - I've gotten 20-22 mpg on the highway empty and 10-12 mpg towing a 35ft fifth wheel.
Kelly Blue book shows $14.5K for private party and NADA shows $17k ave. trade-in. Add to those the cost of a fifth wheel hitch - about $1,000 installed and transportation. If you use the Buy it Now, will deliver it in the lower 48. Or make me an offer and arrange your own transport.
