1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 RS? Split Bumper Cali Car 4 Speed Project. Engine runs

1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z28! A true blue California split bumper Camaro Z28 from Van Nuys. California. As stated by the data tag this was an original cranberry red exterior. black interior car. One of the most desirable color combinations back in the day. Has a 350 motor with 600cfm Edelbrock carbeurator. Not original to vehicle. Just installed brand new split bumpers on the car. Has the stock front and rear sway bars. Is missing the shackle caps on the rear sway bar. The clutch is missing the linkage. Just purchased Z28 wheels and beauty rings that are era correct for this vehicle. Power steering is standard. but is missing the pump. Power brakes as well. They are also are going to require work. Does have brand new master cylinder. It is all there. The only major issue is the right rear quarter panel which was hit and does have bondo and fill and did cause damage in the trunk where there is a hole from the accident. Does come with new quarter panel skin for the damaged panel The hole in the trunk if from the impact when the vehicle was hit. And to boot the vehicle is 98% rust free. New rear tail light panel has been tacked on. but not fastened. Just temporarily clamped on. Gas tank is included with purchased of vehicle. not attached. Probably will store in the trunk for the new buyer. All glass is also intact. Does need full rubber molding and trim kit for the car Not an a/c car. but does have a/c dash with cap. It also has 7k tachometer not the 8k tachometer which is standard for Z28. We also believe since this is a split bumper Z28 there is a great likeliehood it is also a Rally Sport Car. No way to verify that. however. LT Steering wheel and seats are from a slightly newer camaro. New carpet kit that is tacked in as well. Sideview mirrors are missing too. This was a race car when purchased so there are parts that are needed. Most trim and interior were missing when bought due to this factor. Wiring is missing. as well as door panels and headliner. The engine does run. but please note this is a total project vehicle. It has no electrical or driveline. It will need to be towed. Has power windows that are not original to car. but a great upgrade. It was a original automatic. and has been upgraded to a Saginaw 4 speed manual transmission. It has a 10 bolt rear end. not the original 12 bolt that came with a standard posi traction. Also included is a brand new quarter panel skin for the wrecked panel and if you check the undercarriage pic it does have new 2 chamber flowmaster dual exhaust. This is a no reserve auction in the sense that the bare minimum were asking for it can purchased with a single bid.
