1965 Chevelle SS Convertible 327 4 speed, AC, FULL DOCS AZ CAR RUST FREE

1965 Chevelle SS convertible. Complete #'s matching car that was bought new in Dallas Texas and has spent the last 30+ years in a garage here in Tucson awaiting proper restoration. Very Rarely optioned car. Convertible, S, 27 250hp 4 barrell, speed, ir Conditioning, M/FM radio, added dash, ower top, ear antenna, 40 HD suspension, 2 bolt 3.31 rear axle. Desirable color combination of Mist Blue on Blue interior with white Top. DOCUMENTED with ORIGINAL sales receipt, indow sticker, wner protection Booklet with Protecto plate still attached, nd a brass tag that was on the dashboard specifying "This car made especially for Robert D Reynolds." This car still retains all of its original paint and has had no bodywork or rust repair. Body is rock solid throughout with the exception of the trunk floor that has some pitting and feels a bit thin in the middle(no holes whatsoever) Overall body is exceptional and very straight with very good gaps on doors, ood, nd trunk. Drivers side has a dent above rear bumper, scrape above wheelwell, dent in door in front of handle, nd a push in dent in front fender. All are easily removed and I believe this car would need no panel replaced. Passenger side is perfect with just a few dings. Hood and trunk are very nice. Grille is banged up but comes with an NOS one in the box as well as a very nice replacement for the drivers side tailight. Interior is all original except for the front seats that still have the original material under the recovers. The gauges look pretty nice as well as the radio. All of the chrome will need to be refinished for show quality, ut most of it will polish out to driver quality. All of the glass is very nice except for the cracked windshield. There is also a small scar on the passenger door window. Put some gas down the carb and it fired right up, ounded good, nd did not smoke. (albeit we only ran it for 20-30sec.) Its all there and is an unbelievable find this late in the game. Excellent candidate for a top level restoration.
