Please review my feedback—your satisfaction is important to me. I tell you how I see it and have taken pictures of everything I think could be important.
I believe this car is the 1990’s equivalent of a resto-mod. The original owner made the changes to his taste to include a color change to black. The only evidence I have found of the original blue color is under the hood at the front fenders (see photograph below) and on the original floor pans. Yes this car retains its original trunk and floor pans! To the best I can tell the car retains all of its original sheet metal. This car has only been driven approximately 300 miles since 2003. The frame is clean and free of rot.
Goodyear hasn’t made the Eagle ST in over 20 years, he tires are dry-rotted and should be replaced. If you are planning on bidding and don’t live extremely close I would not recommend driving it home on these tires! That said, took it for a drive around town to make sure everything is in working order. Runs great, hifts great, teers and brakes as it should. I am not aware of any mechanical issues. The block casting is covered with paint so I can’t verify what engine is in the car, ut the prior owner told me that it is a 350. I can tell you it runs very strong, oesn’t sound like a stock motor, nd it holds good oil pressure. He also told me that it is a Turbo 400 transmission, don’t know how to tell the difference.
The interior of the car is in good shape. There are no rips or tears in the seats. The carpet is in fine condition. The horn is not hooked up to the after market steering wheel.
The body is pretty straight, oors close solid. Again the paint was done in the late 90’s and it is presentable as a driver, ut it does have nicks, cratches and a few imperfect/touched up areas. I have hosed off the cobwebs but it could use a professional detailing, eep in mind this car has been basically setting in a garage since 2003.
If you are looking for a fun driver or an excellent candidate for restoration this car is offered with a modest reserve that won’t break your budget.
Inspections are welcome and encouraged. I will work with your shipper and you will let the car stay on my property for a reasonable time while you arrange for shipping. If you are paying by cashiers check or wire transfer I will not release the car until the funds fully clear my bank. Clear Maryland tile. I am advertising this car for sale locally. I reserve the right to end this auction anytime. dia/1967%20Camaro/SAM_5463_zpsy9gtjhrs.jpg.html" target="_blank">
