1996 chevy 3500 Crew Cab Dualley with utility body

I'm selling this 1996 Chevy 3500 dually pickup. I bought it 2 years ago to put together as a work truck but I took a fall off a ladder so it didn't happen.It's sat. The story here was the motor had an issue so the owner's mechanic installed another big block but found out this motor was an earlier block that didn't have the provision for the crank sensor. Well buyer beware and I found out the hard way. I located a 1999 motor and trans out of a wrecked truck with 97,000 miles. Very clean and well cared for so I installed it. It runs and shifts well and drives nice. I put a new water pump onand replaced the complete a/c system. New fuel pump and filter.

The body is in overall good condition. The cab is rust free except for above the windshield. No leaks tho. There is scale rust on the frame but it's solid also. Tires have good tread but they are old. The interior is as nice as you'll find. No tears or stains. Cloth seats. Factory floor mats.Still smells ok! All windows and locks work. Alarm system. Custom grille. Paint is ok except the hood. Good old GM clear coat. Has most options including the heavy duty tow package which includes provisions for an extra battery. I am including the option list out of the glove box. Easy to find on line. Also included is a rust free dually utility body made by Reading. Has all the shelves but no locks or tailgate. I went to South Carolina to get it. It is not on the truck at this point. There also is 5 extra tires and rims. I think a good service would make a great truck.
