This is considered the most desirable year by many for the Duramax diesel engine. They are highly regarded for their excellent reliability and power. Mated to the very strong 6 speed Allison transmission it makes for the ultimate drivetrain. Mechanically this truck is in excellent shape. The motor starts and runs like new with no leaks. It has never been chipped or modified and it has been maintained to a very high standard. The transmission shifts perfectly. The brakes are very strong. The suspension is tight and it drives down the road very well. I cannot fault it. It has not been used for towing, t does not even have a trailer brake controller. The front tires are good and the rears tires are new. It gets great fuel mileage.
The body is in excellent shape for its age. There is no rust, he rockers and tailgate are near perfect. There is obviously some minor paint defects as with any used vehicle but nothing noticeable. It has never had any accidents or body repairs ever. There are no significant dents or scratches. The front bumper is slightly bent as can be seen in the photos. There is a plastic bed liner fitted. Overall an exceptionally clean truck that presents very well.
The interior is in nice condition. Everything works as it should. The drivers seat has the usual wear on the edge but this can easily and cheaply be repaired by any upholstery shop if it bothers you. Its very comfortable, uiet and rides nice for a heavy duty truck.
Overall a very nice solid example of an 07 Silverado Duramax Crew Cab and it represents great value.
