I am selling a 2001 yellow chevy corvette convertible with automatic transmission.
This car was a restoration project and I pretty much ran out of money and have to sell it.The car is drive able as I drive it frequently.2010 480hp 6.2 liter GM LS3 Engine with a factory Hot Cam.New OBXdouble coated long tube headers with over sized high flow exhaust.New rebuilt stage 2 transmission.I have all the invoices for these parts.Blue book on the car is closer to 19k, ut with the body needing work and the front end needing replaced its priced low to sell quickly. I estimate it would cost about 3,500 bucks to get the car to perfect condition and then it would probably sell closer to 20k to the right buyer if you wanted to resell it.The car drives great and sounds even better!!! It has that hot rod sound.
In July 2013 I bought a new 480hp engine with factory cam that comes with this GM engine. The enginewasn'tinstalled till mid 2014. Also had the transmission rebuilt to handle the new power and so it wont needattentionfor years to come. The newengine is about 1 1/2 years old, as less than 6000 miles on it and the body has 115k miles. I have had this car for 12 years and before I owned it, here was only 1 other owner. I was in the process of restoring the car to new with a bigger engine, ong tube headers and transmission. The engine you can look up on the net. Its a GM factoryenginebuilt with the Hot Cam from the factory from JEGS.com
When I had the new engine put in I also had replaced new: belts, tarter, water pump, attery,OBX headers double coated insideout, radiator, rebuilt stage 2 transmission with 3000 stall converter, ew OEM convertible top. There are only 3 things needed to get the car to perfect working condition1.) The polyurethane nose needs to be replaced (750 dollars new) part can be ordered fromstarcraftpartsdotcom. Also this site is good to see what the car look like before thevalet guy tore off the front spoiler lip and Ive never had it fixed.
2)The air conditioner needs charged the oil drained out when they put in the new engine. (cost like 200 bucks). It worked perfect before the engine swap and should be just fine still.
3)The heater coil needs to be put in for the heater, have the part to do the job. The heating coil busted along with the engine and radiator when thentemperaturegot 50 below when i was living up north. These two things is why its priced so low. Other than that the car is fully functional. The car sound and drives amazing!
I have invoices for the engine, transmission and headers to back up everything I have said.
Email me if you wanna talk, sk questions, ook at or drive it.
