1955 Chevy V8 3100 Series 2 Pickup Truck

You are looking at a one of a kind full restore 1955 Series 2 Pickup. This truck has the original V8 265 and tranny with matching numbers. The frame has not been chopped or modified in anyway. truly all original and certainly one of a kind!The truck has the look of an old rust bucket but all the flash and flare of brand new. Hence the name "Rusty"! It was fully restored by Rods & Rides out of St. Louis. MO. They took the truck completely apart. made some improvements like disc brakes and calipers. tilt steering column. upgraded matching original stereo. wood panel bed and all new chrome! The exterior is all solid steel with an exotic custom "rust" pain job to give that old barnyard look with all the flash and flare of hot rod new. we even gave it an old shop truck logo that reads a faded. "Motor City Garage. Detroit. MI". The interior has been fully redone as well from top to bottom as well ask all the gauges. handles. knobs. and anything else you can think of inside! The motor was taken apart and the block and lifter covers repainted. the heads were reworked. The bottom was taken off and it now has all new gaskets and seals as well from the motor all the way back to the tail shaft. This truck purrs like a kitten with its original 265 V8. The exhaust is all brand-new as well as you can see from the pictures along with literally everything else on the truck. you will not be disappointed. This truck will turn heads everywhere you go and not only looks good while sitting but will spin heads while gliding smoothly down the road at 65!
