The exterior is pure Camaro with a few tweaks. including a set of subtle charcoal gray ground effects. and a not-so-subtle set of Nickey stripes. The lovely burgundy metallic paint is applied by GM. so you get the benefits of their state-of-the-art facilities and finish quality is quite good. The Nickey boys then took a 0-mile car and gave it the full makeover that respects tradition but gives it a modern twist. SS stripes hug the cowl-induction hood and while the hockey sticks on the side are a traditional look. they work just as well on this modern iteration of Chevy's pony car. But beyond the obvious stuff. this Camaro's exterior is pretty much the way GM built it and with just over 11. 00 miles. it still looks virtually new. Someone definitely cared for this warmed-over Camaro. The interior gets a little more serious about performance. with gorgeous 2-tone seats that proudly wear Nickey logos on the headrests. The two-tone combination extends to the door panels as well. and the effect really brightens the Camaro's otherwise very dark and monochromatic passenger compartment. All the usual features and perks are there. including climate control. power windows. locks. and seats. a tilt column. and a fantastic AM/FM/satellite stereo system. Retro touches abound. ranging from the quartet of auxiliary gauges down low on the console to the deep-dish speedometer and tach. a look that was purely intentional on the part of GM. Like the exterior. it's beautifully maintained and as you'd expect. everything is fully functional thanks to the reliability of the late-model Camaro components. The highly detailed engine bay wears a lot of color-matched parts to give it a custom look. but the blower itself looks so neat that it's almost OEM. Other upgrades include a custom computer tune. ported heads. a special camshaft. and upgraded fuel rails to keep it fed. The Nickey guys rate it at 600 horsepower and it's more than you'll ever be able to use on the street. Fortunately. they back it up with a high-flow exhaust system. custom stainless steel headers. and a special suspension package that makes a noticeable difference in handling. GM's rugged automatic transmission doesn't seem to mind the added power and the whole package is so docile you could drive this car every day and not know the beast that lives within.
