The car was built in 2009 and carries aprox 12000 miles. It is sorted. serviced. and ready for its new owner. The build with the car was over $176. 00. 00 dollars. It is original steel and not an aftermarket body. Car is currently insured for $200. 00. 00. I have a folder 10 inches thick on the car. this car was a 800 miles restored stock Bel Air before it was built to a Pro touring car. I also have photos of the car before the process. Purchase price for the Stock car was $58000. this was not a Junk Yard dog previous to the work performed. Exterior: The original Bel air body is very straight. body gaps are good throughout the car. The paint quality is very nice being painted finished Crocus yellow with a Black rear end. being that we have driven the car there a few very small chips on the front of the hood that have been touched. these are the size of a pencil head Nothing major just noted. This car is complete with all of its very nice trim and bright work throughout the car. chrome is in very nice condition throughout. Robbins top put a German canvas top that fits the car excellent. the top is power and does work nicely. The Boyd wheels have been polished and the centers of the wheels have painted black. the fronts are 17 inch and carry a 245/45/17 Goodyear Eagle with the rear being and 18 inch with 275/40/18 Goodyear’s The offset is excellent and there is no rubbing. All glass in fine condition. Interior: Custom interior with dual Power front seats w lumbar finished to match the exterior color scheme in a vintage fabric. classic instruments gauges. and flaming river tilt steering wheel with polished steering shaft. upgraded stereo with disc changer and I pod capabilities Head unit and Cd changer are in the trunk hidden and there is a Sony control unit located in the glove box that is also operable with a remote. New Vintage AC system that is working correct and ice cold. the complete car has been Dyna Matted to sound deadened the car. The car has been completely re wired and has a new painless wiring harness complete with all new breakers. relays and fuses. All lights. signals and gauges are working correct. Upgraded 14 inch steering wheel as well as Classic Industries stock black steering wheel is also included. Trunk is finished in the same upgraded carpet that is in the cabin of the car. The car is also equipped with Lo Jack…. Motor and chassis: A new Art Morrison chassis was put under this 56. the chassis was powder coated black. some of the accessories are polished. the under carriage is clean. the motor is a new LS1 that has had trick flow heads installed. and a mild cam that produces aprox 530 HP. it is mated the a T56 six speed manual transmission using a McLeod clutch. this clutch is a very easy clutch and is not hard to press in so you can drive the car all day without your left calf getting sore. 6th gear is a very tall gear and I found myself leaving the car in 5th on the hwy at 80MPH the RPM;s aprox 2400. On a long drive the 6th gear was nice. The car shifts like butter. There is a Willwood four disc brake conversion with the power Hydro booster. excellent stopping performance and no pulling even when stopping from over 100MPH. the car handles very well. Coil over Strange shocks. larger Sway bars. All bushings are upgraded and new. shocks are adjustable and currently in the middle position. they can get tighter for a more performance driving style or too autocross the car which has never been done with this car or the shocks could be made looser for more of a Luxurious ride. I found the middle setting to be the best. The car also carries strange Axels. There is a Large Matteson fully polished radiator w dual cooling fans to keep the car at 185 degrees even on the hottest summer days in the San Fernando Valley heat. Custom bent Headers feed a dual exhaust using Flow master Hush power mufflers. a great sound and not too loud. The gas tank is aluminum. This is an excellent 56. it is not a trailer queen and has been driven and enjoyed. not abused. Garage kept. always serviced and needs nothing mechanically. Fly in and drive home.
