Here’s a great deal for you guys that like to build your own Automobile restorations. For Sale is my 1953 Chevrolet Belair 210 4dr. I have to many projects to do and I just decided this has to go instead of my 1955 Oldsmobile. The frame has been blasted and painted with POR 15. The front suspension is upgraded to a brand new modern Rack and Pinion made by Heidt’s Hot Rods. The rear suspension has been upgraded as well with new rear larger springs and shocks. The rear differential is from a 1987 Pontiac Firebird. The Motor is a 1976 Corvette 4 bolt main completely rebuilt. The tranny is a freshly rebuilt700R4. Many front end assembly parts have been powder coated waiting to be installed. None of these components have any miles on them.
The Body: This body will blow your mind. No rust. The floor is just as solid and rust free as it was new. The rest of the body is the same. There were many dings and small dents here and there. The drivers door was dinged up the worst of all. But very easily repairable. We just stripped paint to bare metal and you can take over from there. You will be amazed at the condition of this vehicle.
This is a great find for the guy that loves to build his own ride. My plans were to have the out side of the care look original but the drive train and suspension to be of modern day dependability. Here's a list of some of the items.
Sorry about all the dust in the pictures. Been sanding a lot of panels of paint.
